SUPERMODEL Jodie Kidd visited Tunbridge Wells with transport minister Dr Stephen Ladyman to promote the DVLA’s new online and phone car tax renewal service.

The scheme, launched at the Assembly Hall Theatre, aims to reduce the number of drivers who avoid or delay paying bills because of misplaced paperwork.

It is designed to give a choice between relicensing at the Post Office, by phone, or on the internet.
