Morrisons cuts price of flu jabs

Morrisons Walderslade has cut the price of its flu vaccinations.

Around 7,000 customers benefited from supermarket's flu jab clinics last year and Morrisons expects to vaccinate even more customers this year.

The company has now reduced the price of the vaccinations by £2 to £12.50, from October 18.

The service will be available on allocated days throughout October and November, available to anyone ineligible for the vaccinations on the NHS.

The vaccinations will be administered to the public by practising nurses. To guarantee their vaccine, customers can make an appointment via their local Morrison pharmacy.

Bruce Pimlott, Morrisons General Manager Pharmacy said: “We are extremely pleased to be able to offer more of our customers a flu vaccination service and at a lower cost.

"We continue to offer the service as a convenient alternative for anyone who is ineligible for a vaccine at their General Practitioner and to ensure that flu vaccines are more accessible to everyone.”
