Operation Brock contraflow on M20 to be stood down 'as soon as possible'

Roads bosses have confirmed Operation Brock, which is in force for a second day on the M20, will be stood down as soon as possible.

The contraflow between junctions 8 and 9 for Maidstone and Ashford is designed to reduce congestion if cross-Channel traffic is delayed after Brexit - but it will no longer be needed this week after another extension was agreed yesterday.

Also in today's episode: traffic concerns after buses stopped from going into school, 'Chatty Bench' goes on tour to tackle loneliness, Kent serviceman selected for Invictus Games, and singing cabbie gives woman birthday treat.
