The price of petrol has reached a new record high - right before Christmas.

The average price for a litre of unleaded at the pump has gone up to more than £1.22 - more than three pence more than last month.

Prices in Kent have risen even higher, with one station in Maidstone charging almost £1.26 a litre.

It's sure to hit drivers travelling around the country for Christmas.

And these drivers in Chatham say the prices are ridiculous:

Is the Maidstone petrol station the most expensive in Kent? Do you know of any charging more? What's the cheapest fuel in the county?
