Meryl Turner-Maynard, aged 18, was last seen at her Gas Street home last Wednesday.

She is 5ft 5in with light brown, collar-length hair and blue eyes.

Police said she was last seen wearing black jeggings and a grey vest top.

Insp Gordon Etheridge said: "We are worried about Meryl's disappearance and that she has not been in contact with her family or friends since Wednesday.

"Meryl has learning difficulties and is therefore vulnerable so we have concerns for her welfare."
