Police panto to aid Help for Heroes

The only police tickets guaranteed to make you smile are currently on sale for their annual charity panto.

Officers, staff, family and friends have been busy rehearsing for A-Lad-In Trouble – this year’s family panto based on the story of Aladdin.

This is the tenth year since the idea first took to the stage and the hard work of all those involved over the decade has raised £40,000 for charity.

This year Help for Heroes (www.helpforheroes.org.uk) has been nominated as the main recipient of money raised but some will also go to the QEQM League of Friends for the cancer care appeal.

A-Lad-In-Trouble is at Margate’s Theatre Royal from February 12-14 with performances at 2.30pm and 7.30pm. The box office can be contacted on 0845 130 1786 or 01227 787787. Tickets which are £8 and £6 for concessions can also be bought online at www.theatreroyalmargate.co.uk
