Police probe seafront stabbing

POLICE are investigating reports of a stabbing in Margate. The incident occurred in Hall by the Sea Road near the junction with Eaton Road.

Shortly after 3pm Monday a man was asked to leave a pub on Margate seafront and was shown out of a rear door.

A disturbance occurred between the man and the member of staff from the pub, during which the pub worker was assaulted.

The male victim received a stab wound to his shoulder which required 15 stitches.

The suspect, who wore a black top and blue jeans, ran off towards Eaton Road.
