A man whose body was found hanging in a children’s play area has been named.

Polish national 27-year-old Krzysztof Wrona, who lived locally, was discovered at the newly-refurbished playground in Tovil, Maidstone.

A dog walker made the shocking discovery in the Bridge Mill Play Area - overlooked by family homes - at about 6.15am last Friday.

Police worked quickly to ensure no children would see the distressing scene in The Stampers on their way to school.

An inquest into Mr Wrona's death was opened and adjourned yesterday.
