Pride In Medway - Keller Williams

It's been a long fight but Keller Williams is at last getting back to a normal life. The nine-year old's battle with leukaemia touched the hearts of our readers and staff, including reporter Lynn Cox who nominated him for a Pride in Medway award.

Keller fought a three-year battle against leukaemia but was given the all-clear in August 2008 after gruelling but life-saving treatment, including radiotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.

Dad Ricki said: "Keller is a remarkable young boy who has never moaned about his problems and always thinks of others first."
