Rob Wills, kmfm programme manager, said: “We are so excited to be welcoming more listeners to Kent's Radio Station.

"Back in May, we were told we broke the record for the most listeners in the history of kmfm, so to be hearing that again today feels fantastic.

"Everything we do is about Kent and it's great to see that people across the county are making the switch."

Neil Webster, commercial director, said: “Everyday we hear from businesses big and small across Kent, saying that advertising with us is working for them with customers quoting they have 'heard their advert' on our fantastic station.

"With our audiences continuing to grow on-air and digitally why not start a conversation with us on how we can help grow your business here in Kent."

kmfm is now the only commercial radio station broadcasting to the whole of Kent from studios in the county following a decision to close Whitstable based Heart Kent.
