Ryman League round-up

Premier Division

Dover are champions after a magnificent 6-0 win over Sutton United at Crabble coupled with Staines only taking a point from their game against Hastings gave them an unassailable lead in the division.

James Rogers set the Whites on their way nine minutes before half-time before Dover ran riot after the break.

Frannie Collin made it 2-0 on 56 minutes after collecting the ball and skipping past two defenders and the keeper before Sean Welford slammed home after Jon Wallis had struck a post.

Substitute Matt Bodkin headed in with his first touch to make it 4-0 in the 75th minute, Welford scored again on 80, and Dean Hill's superb finish completed the rout and sparked scenes of celebration at the death.

Dartford and Tonbridge shared the spoils in the Kent derby at Princes Park after a 2-2 draw.

Scott Gooding headed in Anthony Storey's free-kick to put the Angels ahead after just three minutes but the hosts restored parity in the 11th minute when Bradley Woods-Garness netted with a 25-yard drive.

Tommy Osbourne missed the chance to put Dartford ahead from the penalty spot shortly afterwards as his spot-kick was saved by Lee Worgan - and Tonbridge made him pay by going ahead once more four minutes later when Paul Booth turned in Carl Rook's cross.

Adam Flanaghan's looping header three minutes before the break earned the Darts a point.

Margate further eased their relegation fears with a comfortable 3-1 win over Billericay at Hartsdown Park.

They had to come from behind after Ray Shave put the visitors in front on 11 minutes.

The lead lasted just three minutes before Ryan Peters's cross was put through his own net by Michael Alaile under pressure from Kenny Pratt - and full-back Curtis Robinson headed in Joe Healey's free-kick to turn the scoreline around before half-time.

Wayne Wilson completed the scoring from the spot on the hour mark after Peters had been flattened by the Billericay keeper.

Maidstone also enjoyed a comfortable afternoon as they produced what club secretary Darren Lovell described as their "best performance of the season" to sweep aside hosts Carshalton.

Meshach Nugent opened the scoring in the 24th minute and the returning Ryan Royston made it 2-0 (to the great delight of the visiting fans) when he headed in from three yards on 33 minutes.

Lloyd Blackman put the result beyond doubt 15 minutes from time after outpacing the defence to finish.

Ramsgate, howver, took nothing from their trip to Tooting & Mitcham after conceding three goals in the opening 45 minutes.

Division 1 South

Folkestone enjoyed a fantastic afternoon as they routed Crowborough Athletic 8-2 on their own patch - and it was only 2-1 at half-time!

Jacob Arnold Smith grabbed himself a hat-trick, Josh Vincent a brace, and Frankie Chappell, Jimmy Jackson and James Dryden also got themselves on the scoresheet.

No other Kent sides won in the division.

Leaders Cray Wanderers could only take a point from their trip to Fleet Town.

Lee Bremner's deflected shot on the stroke of half-time put the Wands in front - but they surrendered that lead two minutes into stoppage-time.

But it's as you were at the top of the table after Whitstable got a creditable point on the road at second-placed Kingstonian.

Jake Gess should have give the Oystermen the lead but saw his penalty saved and he was punished to the full when the home side went ahead two minutes later.

It looked bleak for Marc Seager's side when James Campbell was harshly dismissed when he was adjudged to be the last man but the equaliser Whitstable deserved arrived with three minutes left when Mark Munday volleyed home.

Ashford let slip a 2-0 lead as they drew 2-2 at Walton & Hersham.

Craig Wilkins header put the visitors ahead in the 22nd minute and Mitchell Sherwood doubled the advantage five minutes after the break after a good move involved Charlie Glyde and Paul Jones.

But a brace from Julian Owusu-Bekoe wiped the smiles off Ashford's faces.

Sittingbourne also surrendered the lead as they derw 1-1 with Burgess Hill Town at Bourne Park.

Colin Richmond finished nicely on 20 minutes to put the Brickies in front but the lead was cancelled out in the 61st minute when Wes Tait levelled for the away side.

Division 1 North

Chatham made it six wins and a draw from their last seven games with a 2-1 win at Leyton.

Lee Barnett got both goals for the visitors - the firsy a sweet finished from Matt Solly's cross on 65 minutes and the second eight minutes from time. Leyton's consolation came in injury-time.

Thamesmead were unlucky to take nothing from their trip to Redbridge, the winner coming with just 10 minutes to go.
