Second man charged after stabbing incident

POLICE have charged a second man in connection with a stabbing incident in a Kent village.

Officers were called to Breach Lane, Lower Halstow, near Gillingham, on Wednesday last week following the alleged theft of a motorcycle.

They discovered that a boy of 15 had suffered a single stab wound to his side. He was taken to Gillingham's Medway Maritime Hospital. It is understood he is in stable condition.

Neil Woolman, 47, is accused of wounding with intent. He is due to appear before magistrates at Sittingbourne today.

Previously officers arrested 26-year-old Andrew Woolman, also of Breach Lane, Lower Halstow. He appeared before Sittingbourne court last Friday charged with wounding with intent.
