Police cordon off Sainsbury's in Canterbury after a sex attack

Police have sealed off an area of a supermarket after a woman was sexually assaulted early this morning.

The victim was walking home when she was attacked by a man in the car park at Sainsbury's in Canterbury.

He stole her iPhone and then ran off, although he may have been driving a small black car.

The attack happened at just after 3am. The store has continued to trade normally.

Anyone with information is asked to phone Kent Police on 101 or Kent Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111 quoting reference number KP-20120104-0109.
