Shot fired in Tunbridge Wells off-licence robbery

Robbers who raided a Tunbridge Wells off-licence fired a shot as shocked staff looked on.

Two men were said to have entered the Greggs Wood Store and Off Licence in Greggs Wood Road at around 5.45pm last night.

They threatened workers and attempted to grab cash, and a shot was fired, but no-one was injured and a shotgun was later recovered by police.

The robbers then fled towards Kemble Close. No money was taken, although minor damage was caused.

Both men are described as black, in their late teens, slimd, around 6ft tall and were carrying a bag with gold writing. One was wearing a black hood and the other a white hood.
