A jealous woman and her teenage pal were jailed today for subjecting a love rival to 18-hours of savage torture.

The sadistic pair left their victim with burns, bruises, a broken nose, shoe marks on her temple and two black eyes so bad she could barely open her eyes.

Georgia Fenn, 18, was eventually found by paramedics with cut hair and her head and clothes matted with blood.

She had suffered the sustained attack at Lucy Viner-Mood's flat in Langton Green, Tunbridge Wells.

Viner-Mood, 22, was handed five years for false imprisonment and three-and-a-half years for ABH.

Her mate Lois Gibson, 18, was jailed for three years for false imprisonment and two years for ABH.

The pair, both of Homewood Road, each admitted both charges.

Maidstone Crown Court heard the attack lasted from 8pm on March 28 until the thugs threw Ms Fenn out of the flat 18 hours later.

During the attack the girl was hit around the head with a heavy metal neck chain and had boiling water and sugar thrown at her.

She was kicked and struck repeatedly with a high heeled shoe.

Miss Fenn's head was stamped on. She was knocked unconscious and awoke when a cigarette was stubbed out on her back.

The attack happened because Viner-Mood believed the victim had become involved with her ex-boyfriend.

Investigating officer Det Con Adrian Grew said: "The behaviour of Lucy Viner-Mood and Lois Gibson can only be described as feral.

"The level of violence shown during their sadistic attack was made all the more shocking by the length of time it went on for.

"Whilst the physical scars they have left are slowly healing, it remains to be seen whether their victim will fully recover from the distress and trauma caused by two people who betrayed her trust, and subjected her to what must have been a terrifying ordeal.

"For her sake, I hope that knowing these vicious young women are now in prison may help her."
