Two sporting heroes are on a whistlestop tour of Kent today
- as they near the end of a gruelling cycle challenge.

Ex-England rugby star Lawrence Dallaglio and Andrew
Flintoff have been cyclying through the county this morning on the
final leg of their epic Cycleslam challenge.

They left Ashford's Halfords store after an overnight stop and
arrived in Dartford at about 10.30am.

The pair stopped for a breather with
their 60-strong cycling team at the Skoda garage, before
heading to the finish line at the Olympic stadium in
Stratford, east London.

The pair have been taking part in the Cycleslam challenge from
Olympia in Greece to the Olympic Park in London.

They have been sponsored by business magnate Richard Branson,
among other companies, and have raised more than £1 million for
Cancer Research UK and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

It is part of a packed weekend of sports stars coming to
Kent.

F1 legend Damon Hill, who was crowned world champion in 1996, is
appearing at Brands Hatch at the weekend alongside other
personalities in a Volkswagen sponsored race.

Jenson Button, who was F1 world champion in 2009, will be at the
circuit on Sunday, when he will be taking to the wheel of a
Mercedes-Benz DTM.

The race will be the first time he has driven at Brands since
his Formula 3 days in 1999. Fellow petrolhead and commentator David
Coulthard will be hosting a live question session.
