Supermarket predicts supremacy

THE new generation of car supermarkets could soon be responsible for more than 50 per cent of new vehicle sales in the UK, bringing prices more in line with the rest of the EU within five years. This is the view of Autolink, Britain’s fastest growing car supermarket chain. With just four branches, Autolink is already set to sell more than 10,000 cars in the next 12 months, throughout the UK.

Autolink, of Parkwood Industrial Estate, Maidstone, which has led the way in new car sales, selling and willing to provide any make or model at significantly reduced prices, has changed the way British motorists look at the new car market. Such has been the response, that already 40 per cent of Autolink's business is in the new car market.

In the past, car supermarkets were often associated with high mileage second-hand vehicles, but Autolink has evolved into the first of the second generation car supermarkets offering a range of quality, low mileage second-hand cars at realistic prices and an unrivalled choice of new cars, from most European manufacturers, with all the back up you would expect from a franchised dealer.

Many consumers used to see imported cars as a risk - in terms of getting replacement parts and also when it came to selling them in the future. However, Autolink has been fundamental in the education of consumers illustrating that imported cars are no different from those supplied by main dealers except for one thing - the price.

Autolink operates from four sites, Chingford, Leicester, Maidstone and Southampton. At any one time the company holds in stock in excess of £6 million pounds worth of cars from almost every manufacturer. Whatever customers want, Autolink can deliver - new or old, small family or luxury executive cars are on offer.
