Teen assaulted after bike theft

A 16-year-old boy has been assaulted outside a takeaway in Cliftonville.

The incident happened at around 5.30pm on Sunday, December 28 at Morley's fast food outlet on Northdown Road.

Kent Police say three white men approached the teenager and one rode off on his friend's mountain bike.

The victim then chased the men into an alleyway behind the shop and back up Northdown Road, where he was punched, suffering injuries to his nose, jaw and hands.

One of the offenders was wearing a white hooded top and white trainers. The others wore dark clothes.
