Three clubs are chasing 22-year-old Ebbsfleet striker Michael Gash.

The Fleet rejected a £30,000 bid for Gash, who scored 11 goals in 39 league games last season, on Friday but a fresh offer from a different club is now being considered over the weekend.

The latest offer is worth £40,000 with £20,000 paid up front, with payments of £10,000 in January and July, 2010.

Gash (pictured), who has one year left on his deal at Stonebridge Road, would not be allowed to leave on a free transfer next summer if he was offered new terms as he would still be under 24.

A total of 30 per cent above the original £15,000 fee paid to Cambridge City needs to be forwarded to the Southern League club if Gash does move on under the sell-on clause negotiated at the time. A decision on the new vote is expected by Monday lunchtime.

Gash is one of only three senior players left at Stonebridge Road after boss Liam Daish saw his budget cut in half by the club's MyFootballClub owners this summer.
