Tory leader to be put in the hot seat

Conservative leader David Cameron will be in the hot seat answering questions from residents when he visits Kent next week.

Mr Cameron is inviting people in the Chatham and Aylesford constituency to quiz him on policy at his first Cameron Direct event in Kent.

The meeting will take place at the Church of Christ the King, Dove Close, off Princes Avenue, Princes Park, Chatham, between 6.30pm and 7.30pm next Monday.

Tracey Crouch, Conservative parliamentary candidate for Chatham and Aylesford, said: “I am delighted David Cameron is coming to the constituency.

“It is a fantastic opportunity for anyone of any political persuasion to come along and raise their issues, questions and concerns with him

“Members of the public set the agenda for the evening, so whether the question, issue or concern is about the global economic downturn or local anti-social behaviour, it will be answered by David Cameron in person”

The event is free and open to all local residents, but tickets have to be obtained in advance.

To apply for a ticket, please email camerondirect@traceycrouch.co.uk or call 01634 853322.
