A 24-year-old tour guide wanted in connection with alleged sexual assaults on three Kent schoolgirls has given himself up to police.

Aaron Juan is accused of the attacks on the students from a Kent secondary school, which the Kent Messenger Group has agreed not to identify.

The incidents are alleged to have happened while the pupils were on a school trip to Belize.

Juan has been charged with rape and is due to appear in court on Monday.

At the time of the incident, Kent County Council officials launched an investigation but said there was no indication of a lapse of security during the trip which was organised by the school.
