Sevenoaks train station upgrade

One of Kent's most historic train stations has been given £750,000 for a major refurbishment.

Once used by Queen Victoria, it is hoped the money will help The Bat and Ball in Sevenoaks to become a community hub.

To commemorate the facelift developers buried a time capsule underneath the floorboards for future generations to discover.
