Two in hospital including motorcyclist after four-vehicle crash on A2 near Boughton

Two people have been taken to hospital after a four-vehicle crash this afternoon.

It happened just before 12.30pm on the coasttbound A2 near Boughton, close to Faversham.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “Two people have been taken to hospital, including a motorcyclist. None of the injuries are reported to be life threatening.”

Officers and paramedics attended the scene where the motorcyclist was treated for a leg injury.

He was taken to a local hospital for medical attention along with an occupant of one of the cars who went as a precaution.

The road remained closed until about 3.15pm while recovery of the vehicles continues.
