Victim speaks out about
arson attacks

A firebug is on the loose in north Kent, destroying at least
seven cars within four days.

Four cars were torched in the early hours of this morning at
Medhurst Gardens and Medhurst Crescent, Gravesend - just days
after another three vehicles were ruined by arsonists at exactly
the same spot.

Thames-side fire crews were first called to Medhurst Crescent at
about 3am Saturday to reports of a car alight, and again on Monday
at around the same time.

At 2.30am today the fire station was alerted to further problems
in Medhurst Gardens and sent two pumps.

Three cars, including a Mitsubishi Shogun and a Rover, were well
alight when crews arrived and were all badly damaged by the time
the fires were put out.

Police attended the incidents, which are being treated as
suspicious.
