Video: KM Group celebrates Kent Air
Ambulance

by Lauren Hood and Ruth
Banks

When 16-year-old Lettie Head was lying
in a muddy field, unable to move her legs, the whirring arrival of
the Kent Air Ambulance must have been music to her ears.

The teenager, from Langley near
Maidstone, needed urgent medical attention when she seriously
injured her back in a horse-riding accident in May.

But she is just one of thousands of
people who’ve been rescued by the Kent Air Ambulance over the
years.

This week, the KM Group is paying
tribute to the doctors, pilots and fundraisers who make the
life-saving work of the air ambulance possible.

Tune in to kmfm at 9am, 1pm and 6pm to
