Video: Under fire in Afghanistan

Sorry, this video asset has been removed.

Video: See how the
journey didn't quite go to plan.

Coming under fire is a part of the life for Kent soldiers
deployed in northern Helmand province, Afghanistan.

For a journalist, though, it is not part of the job
description.

As part of the British forces' efforts to help Afghan civilians
start new lives, the Kent-based Gurkhas have been holding off
Taliban forces to the north and south of the centre of Musa Qal'eh.
The patrol bases they live in need supplies brought to them.

Our reporter Chris Price went out on a convoy to Patrol Base
Woqab to bring essential water and food to troops from B company of
the Folkestone-based Second Battalion of Royal Gurkha Rifles.

But the journey did not go completely according to plan - as the
video above shows.
