CAR vandals have struck seven times in a week in a Kent village.

Police say offensive language has been scratched into the paintwork of vehicles parked in Postley Road and Stagshaw Close, Tovil, near Maidstone.

In the latest incident, between 6.30pm on October 11 and 7am the following day, a Ford Puma was damaged all the way from the front of the car to the rear passenger side.

In another case a car was dented after being climbed on.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 01622 604180 or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
