TWO of Kent's best known boxers are due to appear on the same bill on July 5 on what should be a big night for the county's fight fans.

Chatham champion Armour will defend his WBU Bantamweight title against Nathan Sting. Harry Dhami, formerly from Gravesend but now living in Walderslade, will be making his long-awaited return after more than 18 months out of the ring.

Armour, 34, will top the bill at the Brentwood Leisure Centre in Essex, with Richard Willimas, who will defend his IBO light-middleweight title.

For Armour it spells the end of a frustrating period of waiting for a new date to face the Australian champion after the original date, April 11, was cancelled because Armour picked up an elbow injury.

Dhami, meanwhile, last fought in December 2001 when he was knocked out by Neil Sinclair in the third defence of his British welterweight title. His opponent has yet to be named.
