Andy Barcham will be forced to rest until Thursday after receiving a head wound during Gillingham's 4-0 win over Rotherham.

The forward clashed with opposition keeper Andy Warrington and was forced off with the injury.

“Fingers crossed if he doesn’t get any reaction off that then he should be available for next weekend,” said Gillingham manager Mark Stimson.

Also leaving the field early was midfielder Curtis Weston, who received a knock on his hip and failed to show in the second half.

He was replaced by Mark McCammon who showed no ill-affects from a hamstring injury which has kept him out of the side for the last two games.
