CHRIS KINNEAR believes stability will be a key factor as Margate try to go forward after three years away from the town.

Thanet Council planners have said the commercial development at Hartsdown Park should be recommended for approval by the full council tonight, and Kinnear is hoping the decision finally goes in the club's favour.

He said: "All the signs are good, and it looks like we are being supported, just like Dartford Football Club have got the backing from their local council recently.

"If Thanet can give us the same type of support then I think we can be as big as anybody in non league football."
