Bullock joins ex-boss at Gills

GILLINGHAM manager Neale Cooper has completed his first signing with the arrival of keeper Tony Bullock from Dundee United.

The 33-year-old stopper turned down an offer to stay with the Scottish Premier League outfit, to link up with his former boss at Priestfield.

Bullock had an enjoyable couple of seasons working alongside Cooper at Ross County and has signed a two-year contract for the Gills.

Cooper made a late move for the Warrington-born keeper, after Bullock had looked all set to sign a two-year deal with the Scottish club.

Bullock said: "I gave serious consideration to staying at Tannadice, but having thought things through with my family, I decided this was the best option at this time.

"When the opportunity arose for me to work with Neale again I couldn't turn it down as I had two fantastic years with him Ross County.

"I want to finish my playing career in the English leagues but will always look back at the time I had up here with great fondness."
