EXCITED: Kevin Parrish

INVICTA Dynamos have signed the experienced Canadian Ken Forshee as their overseas player for 2007-8.

The former Swindon Wildcats player-coach, 31, has agreed to join Kevin Parrish's squad as a replacement for Jordy Black.

Parrish believes his new addition will bring a different dimension to the club.

"I'm very excited about this signing. He might not get as many goals as Jordy but he'll get his fair share and will drop back a bit more.

"He plays both ends of the ice very well and he's totally different to what we've had before. I think he’ll also get the most out of the players around him."

Forshee becomes the Dynamos' third signing of the summer, following defenceman Tim Smith and new captain Grant Baxter.
