GILLINGHAM caretaker managers Mick Docherty and Iffy Onuora could remain in charge for Leeds’ visit on Saturday.

The pair have been in temporary charge since Ronnie Jepson’s departure, but with the search for a successor continuing, they may be needed to stay on a little longer.

Chairman Paul Scally has already interviewed a number of candidates and has hinted that Saturday’s clash may come to early to make an announcement.

“It’s not a quick process,” he said. “I want to take my time to assess all the candidates.

“I have every faith in Iffy Onuora and Mick Docherty to get all three points against Leeds at the weekend.”

Saturday’s match is all-ticket and supporters must be registered on the club’s database to purchase tickets.
