Plymouth v Charlton

Jerome Thomas is Charlton’s major injury doubt ahead of the trip to Plymouth this Saturday.

Thomas, who was replaced by on-loan Lee Cook after 64 minutes against Wolves last weekend, is suffering from a groin strain.

The Addicks will be hoping that defender Madjid Bougherra is now fit enough to make his return from injury.

Bougherra has been linked with a return for the past fortnight after a long injury-enforced absence.

The central defender has not played for the Addicks since sustaining an ankle injury in the 2-0 home win against Crystal Palace on February 8. He started his comeback a week ago, playing half a game for Algeria in a friendly against the Democratic Republic of Congo in Paris.

Plymouth, who like Charlton have suffered a dramatic fall from grace, have lost three of their last five. They could be without their best player, the Hungarian international midfielder Peter Halmosi.

He sustained a knee injury after being sent off against Watford two weeks ago and is rated no better than 50-50.
