CHATHAM top scorer Brendon Cass is wanted by Southern League Division 1 East rivals Dartford.

They have served seven days' notice of approach and Darts boss Tony Burman watched Cass in action in Chats' 2-0 midweek cup win over Potters Bar.

The forward has been an outstanding success since his summer arrival from Tonbridge Angels, rattling in 14 goals to put him up amongst the division's leading marksmen.

Chatham boss Steve Binks admitted: "I owuld be devastated if Brendan left because he has been a fantastic success for us, not only his goals but the other qualities which he brings to the side."
