Chinese striker Ying Ming Ye could line up for Gillingham’s reserve team tonight at Lewes.

The Gills begin their Football Combination Central Division campaign in Sussex and manager Mark Stimson is planning on fielding a number of trialists.

Ye arrives for a three week trial at Gillingham as Stimson seeks all possible options in a bid to end the club’s scoring problems.

Stimson is expecting a number of scouts to watch the game as he seeks to get several of the club’s youngsters out on loan.

Among the young pros expected to feature for the Gills will be Danny Walder, Tom Wynter, Rory Hill and Tayler Thomas.

Tonight's game kicks off at 7pm.
