CHARLTON have allowed Denmark Under-21 international winger Martin Christensen to join Dutch side Heracles Almelo on loan for the rest of the season.

The Addicks paid Herfolge Boldklub £250,000 for the 20-year-old on March 8.

Manager Alan Pardew was no stranger to the youngster whom he took to former club West Ham on trial.

Christensen made three reserve team appearances this season but failed to break into the first team squad.

The club have also confirmed the departure of on-loan Manchester City defender Danny Mills who has left to join Premier League Derby County.
