Clohessy extends deal with Salisbury

Sean Clohessy will remain at Blue Square Premier side Salisbury City for another two months after Gillingham agreed to extend his loan.

The young defender’s current one month loan deal expires on Saturday when Salisbury head to Stevenage.

Clohessy has featured in the club’s last six games but they have lost their last five. He scored on his debut in the 1-1 draw with York.

As part of the deal he can be recalled back with a 24 hour notice.

He has been joined at Salisbury by young Gillingham winger Rory Hill.

Hill featured for the club’s reserve team on Tuesday and will again play for the side in a game on Monday, as manager Nick Holmes makes an assessment on him, before committing to a probable loan move.
