Wrexham v Ebbsfleet

Liam Daish has got plenty of competition for places up front as Ebbsfleet travel to Wrexham on Saturday.

The Fleet go into the Blue Square Premier clash on the back of an impressive 4-1 win at Forest Green. Strikers Michael Gash, Luke Moore and Kezie Ibe were all on the scoresheet as the Fleet moved up to 10th in the table.

Daish said: “Michael and Luke have struck up a good partnership.”

Moore has scored five goals in eight games while Gash has got on the scoresheet twice.

Daish added: “Luke’s form is not surprising me. I see him day in, day out and it doesn’t surprise me at all.

“I think he is getting that bit of belief in himself. He is definitely up there as one of the top strikers in the league.”

Ibe has been on the bench for the Fleet’s last five league games and has scored twice.

Daish is refusing to rule out a bigger role for the former Chelmsford man and explained: “There’s competition everywhere.

“Kezie is a good player to bring on. He’s full of enthusiasm and wants to do well.

“He makes life uncomfortable for defenders and has been taking his chances.”

Midfielder George Purcell (hip) is the Fleet’s only injury doubt.
