Tonbridge Angels 3 Whitehawk 1

Loan signing Shamir Goodwin scored on his debut as Tonbridge Angels beat Whitehawk 3-1 at Longmead on Saturday.

Goodwin, who has joined from Championship club Brighton for a month, scored the second goal in Angels' first Skrill South victory since August.

Strike partner Nathaniel Pinney put Tommy Warrilow's side ahead on 32 minutes with a header from Nathan Green's cross.

Youngster Goodwin doubled the lead two minutes later when he collected Lee Browning's pass and beat his man before firing home off the underside of the bar.

Angels put the game to bed 11 minutes from time with Green on target from the penalty spot following a foul on Pinney.

Former Tonbridge man Lewis Taylor pulled a goal back for the visitors on 84 minutes but Angels took the points and move up to 17th place in the table.
