Ebbsfleet boss Liam Daish wants a strong finish to the season

Ebbsfleet v Wrexham

Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish is looking forward to playing without pressure as his team host Wrexham in Blue Square Premier on Tuesday.

The Fleet mathematically secured their league status last weekend and Daish is now ready to push on and finish the campaign on a high.

Daish explained: “We can now finish in a fairly respectable position. Now the pressure is off us we have got to look to pick up as many points as possible.

“It has been a tough season but hopefully we can give the supporters something to shout about during the last game of the season.”

The Fleet could welcome back striker Michael Gash after he missed the 2-0 win at Weymouth last weekend through injury while defender Leon Crooks has returned to Wycombe after his loan spell ended.
