St Albans v Welling

Manager Andy Ford is ready to make changes as Welling aim to end a four-game winless streak in Blue Square South on Tuesday night.

Ford's hand is forced by the departure of keeper Clark Masters and injuries to Tony Sinclair and Rob Quinn but he is keen to find the right formula again.

"We may have to change the system to get it right," said Ford.

"We played with one up front last year and it worked well. Chelmsford play that way and we could do it again as well - it's something to consider.

"We need to get back to winning games but I can't play the team that did so well against Bromley again at the moment."

Former Grays and Fisher defender Gavin Dayes looks set to replace Sinclair with Jack Parkinson to replace Quinn.

Lee Protheroe and Matthew McEnteggart both remain doubts after missing the Chelmsford defeat.

"We've hit a brick wall at the moment," added Ford. "We need to get a win as soon as possible and kick on again."
