Welling v St Albans

Welling boss Andy Ford has set his side a points target each month in the bid to reach the Blue Square South play-offs.

Ford, who maintained a positive outlook despite a winless September which included an early FA Cup exit, wants his team to maintain their impressive league record.

The Wings will look for a third straight win at home to St Albans on Tuesday night and Ford said: "We've set ourselves a target, and that's seven points a month.

"If we can pick that up then it will put us in and around the play-off places.

"We need to win the two home games this week to help us, and we've already got one under our belts."

Ford will hope to welcome back skipper Rob Quinn with Ryan Johnson (calf) struggling to be fit.
