Carlisle v Gillingham

STEVE LOMAS is the only injury doubt as Gillingham prepare to make the long trip to Carlisle on Saturday.

Caretaker boss Iffy Onuora believes the Gills' underdogs tag might help in the bid to gain their first away points of the season.

He said: "Given our away record, it looks like a home win is on every coupon throughout the land but I'm sure we can use that to the players' advantage."

Onuora added that speculation regarding the vacant manager's position should not have an effect on his team's performance.

He said: "The situation off the pitch hasn't changed. I'm still in charge, I’m still calling the shots in terms of selecting the team.

"Matters off the field are irrelevant to me and they should be to the players – they know that."
