Darlington v Gillingham

Gillingham manager Mark Stimson is expecting a tough battle as his side aim to post their first League 2 win of the season on Saturday.

After last weekend's home defeat by Luton, the Gills are on their travels with Darlington the destination this weekend.

Stimson said: "Darlington are a decent side. They’ll try and get the ball down and pass it.

“They’ve got a couple of good individual players that we’ll have to be aware of but it is about us.

“If we can reproduce Bournemouth and some parts of the Luton game then we’ll ask questions of their defence.”

Keeper Simon Royce (illness) is expected to return while Adam Miller and Garry Richards (hamstring) are pushing for a starting place, although Stimson has hinted that the latter could be forced to sit on the bench with Leigh Mills expected to continue.
