Bromley v Lewes

GILLINGHAM youngster Charlie Howard goes straight into Bromley's squad for tonight's clash with Blue Square South leaders Lewes at Hayes Lane.

Howard, 17, has signed on a month's loan with the Lillywhites, and will replace fellow midfielder Peter Adeniyi, who has left Bromley to join Eastleigh.

The Lillywhites could be without up to seven first teamers tonight.

Full back Mark Corneille and striker Nic McDonnell aggravated injuries during the warm up to Saturday's home defeat, ironically against Eastleigh, to join a missing list which includes Barry Moore, Francis Duku, Tutu Henriques, Steve Clark, and Simon Glover.

New signings Fiston Manuella, a tough-tackling central midfielder, and striker Reggie Savage, are in the squad.

Assistant manager Derek Parnham and player coaches Simon Osborn and Bobby Bowry remain in temporary charge of the team following Goldberg's resignation last week.

Lewes top Blue Square South with 40 points from 18 games, while two successive league defeats have pushed Bromley down to ninth, with 28 points from 19 games.
