THE Medway-based Invicta Dynamos ice hockey team will be making their final bid for some extra silverware in 2007 this Saturday after leaving two competitions empty handed last weekend.

The Mos travel up to Newcastle for the first leg of the National League Final with the return game at the Ice Bowl on Sunday, April 22.

With his side crashing out of both the ENIHL Cup and the play-offs in recent days, coach Kevin Parrish said the Newcastle game was vital.

"We definitely want to win it and end the season on a high," he said. "It’s the last piece of silverware we can win.

Andy Smith will not play for the Mos again this season due to work commitments. Peter Korff (knee) is a major doubt.

Mos will return to the Ice Bowl for the final play-off game with Haringey on Sunday (face-off 5.15pm).
