PHIL CHARD: "The Jets are far from invincible..."

THE Gillingham-based Invicta Dynamos ice hockey team face two very different prospects this weekend.

Their next game on Saturday is away to English National Premier League title contenders Slough Jets. Then, the reigning English National Premier League champions entertain strugglers Telford Wildfoxes at the Ice Bowl on Sunday.

The Mos have a couple of games in hand on the majority of teams around them and hope their fully fit squad can earn the points to move into the top five.

Captain Phil Chard said: "We have a pretty good record against Slough. We've beaten them twice and lost just the once in what was the worst game I have ever been involved in where we were terrible.

"So the Jets are far from invincible and we'll be looking for another good result to draw confidence from and start moving up the league table."
