CHARLOTTE DALE will be hoping that injuries received when she fell in the Amsterdam Marathon heal quickly as she has a trip to Japan to look forward next month.

The 21-year-old Invicta East Kent runner, from Whitstable, will join world marathon champion Paula Radcliffe in the UK Athletics team for the Chiba Ekiden Marathon relay.

Radcliffe will be allocated one of the 10k legs, along with Dale, while the remainder of the marathon distance will be completed by Kate Ramsey (7k), Jo Ankier (5k), Birhan Dagne (5k) and Kate Reed (5k).
