Aaron Young and Rob Butterfield set a new course record to win the 50th Isle of Sheppey Sailing Club Round the Island Race.

The pair, who were sailing a Tornado Sport, completed the 40 mile clockwise circumnavigation of Sheppey in a time of 2 hours 10 minutes.

More than 100 boats took part in the event on Saturday which was sailed in perfect conditions with the wind increasing from 16mph to 20mph later in the day.
